Racquet Inc | Catalog Redesign

Overview

I was tasked with redesigning the wholesale catalog for Racquet Inc, a company based in Dayton Ohio who provides affordable, high-quality gifts & accessories for athletes of all ages.

There were two major parts to this project, photographing the products and laying out the catalog. During the process I frequently referenced brand guidelines and changed direction whenever feedback was received.

My skills in product photography grew a lot during this time, and I appreciated the creative freedom to stage products in a fun way.

Dorothy Lane Market | Hand Painted Signage

Seafood Dept. Installation

This project was a large seafood department signage installation at Dorothy Lane Market, a local grocer in Dayton Ohio. Along with the artistic director and marketing team, I helped design the layout and verbiage for the signs. Once the designs had been finalized by the art department and the verbiage by the marketing department, I then hand painted the signage pictured. The whole project took a couple of months to coordinate with everyone, but the end results were worth the wait.

Lobby Signage

Every week at Dorothy Lane Market I was tasked with creating 3 signs that would go in the front of the stores to showcase the new local produce they had gotten in that week. This was a task that I self managed and completed on my own. I selected a few that I'm very proud of and think show my ability to compose and execute a balanced piece of art.

Super Scoops | Hand Painted Menu Mural

Overview

This is currently the largest solo mural/painting project I have ever taken on. I was hired by a local ice cream shop, Super Scoops, to create a fun mural on the wall incorporating their menu.

I met with the owner and asked about branding, design wants, frustrations, and the overall feel he wanted from the piece. I designed the menu in Adobe Illustrator, approved the design, and then painted it physically on the walls of their shop.

There were a few major changes made to the menu during painting, but I was able to keep the client happy while keeping the design looking cohesive. The whole project took about 3 weeks, and was so much fun!
